We are also excited to offer the following three unpaid, student internships for next semester here in our DC office:
Front Office Intern
NDN/The New Policy Institute, a center-left think tank and advocacy organization, is seeking a part-time front office intern for the Spring 2012 Semester. This intern will report to the Assistant to the President in a wide range of tasks, including organizing events, fundraising, communications, and other administrative duties. The intern will aid the Assistant to the President in supporting NDN/NPI projects including the 21st Century Border Project, the MENA Initative, and the Next Economy Partnership Project.
The ideal candidate for this unpaid position will be an undergraduate or graduate student who is able to work 15-20 hours per week and who is interested in being exposed to a range of different aspects of daily operations at a think tank. MENA Initiative Intern
The MENA Initiative at NDN seeks to build support for and provide policymakers and organizations with the tools needed to promote an agenda of broad-based, strategic, and multilateral economic and diplomatic partnership with the countries of the Middle East and North Africa. We accomplish this through media outreach, research, high-profile programming, engaging new constituencies in the diplomatic and private sector, organizing platforms of engagement for legislators, and by facilitating collaborative partnerships between organization working on different aspects of Middle East policy.
NDN is hiring an unpaid part-time intern to support the MENA Initiative Director in all aspects of program operation. The successful candidate will be a current undergraduate or graduate student with some demonstrable interest or experience with these issues. NDN Digital Intern
NDN is looking for a digital intern to work either in DC or remotely and help with web-based projects and the improvement of our collection of web sites. This position requires working knowledge of DRUPAL and Wordpress. The ideal candidate for this unpaid position will be an undergraduate or graduate student who is able to work 15-20 hours per week.
