Video, 12/20: On Fox, Simon Makes the Case for Obama's Fiscal Cliff Offer

Simon appeared on Fox's "America Live with Megyn Kelly" on December 20, 2012 to advocate for President Obama's fiscal cliff offer.  Note the unusually falacious arguments from Marc Thiessen - how Obama hasn't compromised, and his just blatant misstatement about the Obama offer itself.  Foreshadowed the fiasco we saw play out on the House floor last night.

Video, 12/6: On Fox Today Simon Argues GOP's Use of the Debt Ceiling Has Been Bad Economics, Politics

Today, Simon appeared on "America Live with Megyn Kelly" opposite Marc Thiessen to discuss the fiscal cliff and debt ceiling. In the interview Simon cited the GOP's collapsing poll numbers, arguing that playing with the debt ceiling has been bad for the GOP, and if used again could do further harm to the GOP's prospects.  Later this afternoon Mitch McConnell tried to use the debt ceiling as a political football on the floor of the US Senate, and failed miserably.  Note the continued use of conservative magical budgetary thinking by AEI's Marc Thiessen in the segment.
