Two Great Events This Week and Another on the Horizon
Today NDN and NPI hosted the Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano and a panel of experts discussing the very substantial progress being made along our common border with Mexico. If you did not attend or catch the webcast, please check back on our website next week to view the video.
Additionally, NDN/NPI hosted an event on Tuesday with Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Judith McHale. This event was focused on how social media and other new technologies are affecting diplomacy, politics and governance in Latin America. To view a video of the event, please click here.
If you are interested in attending more events NDN has to offer, we would like to remind you that our Latin American Policy Initiative and 21st Century Border Initiative will be joining forces on April 11 for Forward Together/Avanzando Juntos/Avançando Juntos – A Conference Looking at the Changing Politics of the Americas. This day-long conference will look at how this fast-changing region might be able to do more together in the years ahead. The agenda for this policy day is listed below.
