Great Events at NDN
This week NDN and The New Policy Institute hosted Forward Together/Avanzando Juntos/Avançando Juntos, a conference looking at the changing politics of the Americas. Filled with speeches by Senior White House and Administration officials, as well as local and foreign government officials, the day was a great success. For more information on all the day had to offer, check out posts from Kristian Ramos. We will have full video next week posted on our website, and there are pictures from the day below.
NDN has planned another great event for April 26th, with Francisco Sanchez, Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade. He will address the challenges and opportunities presented to America by an increasingly competitive global economy. In the days following his speech, Under Secretary Sanchez will attend the World Economic Forum on Latin America in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he will meet with leaders from some of the world's most vibrant economies.
Under Secretary Sanchez will be joined by Dr. Robert Shapiro, Chair of NDN's Globalization Initiative and former Under Secretary of Commerce for Economic Affairs. Please RSVP as soon as possible.
