A New Global Politics

NDN & the New Policy Institute will host a breakfast discussion about this new global politics and the changing technologies and demographics that are making it possible. Joining NDN President Simon Rosenberg will be Jose Antonio Vargas, Senior Contributing Editor to the Huffington Post, and one of America's leading experts on the "anthropology" of the internet age, as well as Oscar Salazar, an internet entrepreneur and activist, whose company CitiVox works to improve the democracy and civil society of his home country of Mexico.

NDN/New Policy Institute is excited to announce our new Clean Energy Forum to be held in New York. This Forum will focus on issues surrounding the modernization of the electricity architecture and the promotion of clean energy in the United States. The host of this forum is Michael Moynihan, Director of our Clean Energy Initiative and a New York native. Jason Scott will be the first speaker of the forum on March 8, at 8:00am for a breakfast event.

NDN is excited to host a dynamic panel to discuss the recent path-breaking Democracy Journal piece, "The 'More What, Less How' Government," published in the Winter 2011 issue. Authors Eric Liu and Nick Hanauer will be joined by Michael Lind of the New America Foundation, Megan McArdle of The Atlantic, and moderator EJ Dionne of the Washington Post.
