Event Summary:

On Tuesday, November 13, 2007, NDN hosted the New York debut of the Bernard Schwartz Forums on Economic Policy. NDN also released a new paper titled "Investing in Our Common Future" by NDN Fellow Michael Moynihan. This paper examines a specific component of our globalization narrative - investment in infrastructure - and proposes a set of measures to restore our national political will and improve funding mechanisms to rebuild and advance U.S. infrastructure. In addition to Michael Moynihan, forum panelists included Bernard L. Schwartz, Chairman and CEO of BLS Investments; Robert Hormats, Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs International; Dr. Rob Shapiro, Chair of the NDN Globalization Initiative and former Chief Economic Advisor to President Bill Clinton; and Simon Rosenberg, President and Founder of NDN.
